Dear folkies,
We would like to invite you to the balfolk dance classes organized every Thursday in the welcoming space of Feldeggstrasse 89.
Both beginners and advanced dancers are welcome and will be able to find something for themselves.
After class there is a possibility to do a jam session and dance practice.
Teacher: Rafal Kwietniewski
Rafal has many years experience teaching balfolk dancing in Warsaw. He started dancing bal folk in 2005 and has been a teacher since 2012. Besides folk dances from France his interests are as well traditional Polish, Irish, Portuguese, Hungarian and Baltic dances and last but not least – Brazilian forró.
There are over 100 balfolk dances being present on the folk dance floors and we will dance through a big part of the repertoire. We will start from mixers and Breton chain dances, learn most popular dances from different French regions – Poitou (and Vendee), Occitania, Basque Country and Auvergne. We will also not forget about couple dances, like waltz, mazurka or scottish.
